How To Setup Archives E-mail

1. Overview

The archive files are a compressed pack format commonly used to store data loaded within the environment.

2. Methods

 Load <path>

Load initializes the archive from the path specified.

 Extract <file>

Extract decompresses all or any individual file specified from the loaded archive.


Clean deletes the extracted files.


Unload safely discharges the loaded archive from memory.

3. Example

The following example is based upon the engine being initialized at which point all files are extracted, and deleted prior to shutdown.

Private Pack As New GameBasic3D.Pack
' Engine.Initialize
Pack.Load "./.."
